If you have loved ones who served in WW II click the link and register them at the new WW II Memorial in Washington DC.

Mine were already there ... that's something to see their names and hometowns.... When I was little and we went to see Dad's parents, a cousin always took me to to top of this hill where there was a stone monument with all the guys from Arkadelphia AR who served in WW11. She always pointed out my Dad's name and each time I stuck my chest out like I'd done something.

Several years ago a tornado went thru Arkadelphia and destroyed that monument. When I found that out it was like something just died inside me. My Dad had died several years before and it was like now no one would know he was ever there.

Don't get me started on getting sentimental...

Hugs BD
