Title: The girl with no name
Post by Broken on Dec 27th, 2006, 1:53pm
Have you ever heard of a girl with no name?
She felt like her life was going down the drain.
She had no where to go.
No feelings to show.
Except for the pain.
Such a sad little girl, this girl with no name.
By day in an ally she sleeps.
By night alone she walks the streets.
She jumps at every noise.
She's glared at my little girls and boys.
She stands in the rain.
Such a sad little girl, this girl with no name.
One night the girl finally crys.
Then in the silence and tears she dies.
Alone on the street.
Finally worn down by the blows of strangers feet.
Now she flies to heaven's gate.
No longer will she have to wait.
Open up and let her in.
The heavenly father wipes the dirt from her skin.
Such a glad little girl, is this girl with no name.

One of my favs of yours so far! Like Mike said the mix of emotions is a nice touch.

Any of you music types want to try and write a score for some of Felicia's works? Could be interesting!

Glad you liked it. Carl D was putting one to music a while back but the last time I heard from him was a long time ago. I think its one of my better ones though.

Cry
Cry like there's no heaven.
Cry like there's no hell.
Cry like there's no tomorrow.
Cry like there's no today.
Cry like your heart's been broken.
Cry like you've found true love.
Cry like your best friend just died.
Cry like your baby sister has been born.
Cry like there's no heaven.
Cry like there's no hell.
Cry like there's no tomorrow.
Cry like there's no today.
Cry until there a reason,
for you to cry no more.

It's been a couple of months since I got my machine, but have had problems with the soundcard (which, is why I sound like I have an alien voice during my radio show broadcasts) and my hands have been tied on recording until I get the 'bug' worked out. Getting a new soundcard next week, so HOPEFULLY I'll be able to start recording thereafter.

The first thing I am recording (as a test) is an instrumental called "The Shadow" that, like some of my songs in the past - is very much a musical experiment. Then, my next feat (and I am dying for it because it is fully written in my head) is "Dance Without Music" - the words are fully yours, just the title is slightly different. It will be credited with your name for the lyrics.

Also, a door may have just opened for me to go into a decent studio with Ian Baird (fellow Inet DJ and guitarist/ Vocalist for both "Springclock Wonder" and "The Glare of Day" one of many drummers for the metal band "Deliverance" and also my former bass player from "Zeal" back in the day. He was listening to my broadcast Sunday and I played my song "Achilles Germ" and explained what I did to him with the song and he was like, "Dude I'll bet I could make you sound 100 times better in my studio with my production." He knows I am poor and desperate to get back to recording again - and also might be playing drums for me (that is a definite IF I record this album there).
Only drag is, he is in Greenville, IL - an hour and a half from me, and I don't drive.

But, once I get this soundcard in, I have to start recording IMMEDIATELY and will be under pressure to do it fast but RIGHT - as I set the release day for my brithday: April 20, 2007. I figure something GOOD finally has to happen on one of my birthdays, and I can't think of anything better than releasing the first new FORMER disc in almost 7 years.

Peace, and keep writing!!!
Carl D

Thanks Carl. Here's a few more for now. I found them just lying around. Must be I was sleep writing again. [smiley=laugh.gif] Anyways, hope you like them.

Snowflake (Slightly Insain)
Thick and fluffy.
Light as air.
Blood drenched flakes.
With a killer's touch.
Floating down.
Resting on the ground.
Blinding darkness.
Fill you with fear.
Soft and heavenly.
Filled with light.
Get ready to die.
Say goodnight.

Dying From the Pain
I live without crying.
I feel this unforgiving pain.
My entire body brakes.
I scream inside my brain.
You stand there and watch.
As I crumple to the ground.
My heart brakes.
An ever silent sound.
The black floats in.
I fall down so hard.
My life is at an end.

Who Are You to Judge Me?(not ment towards anyone here)
I stood without judging.
As I stand here now.
Your judgement was, at least, unfair.
Sadly, you've let me down.
You don't know me.
What I've been through.
Without a fair jury.
I was convicted, by you.
You got your way,
and that's fine with me.
I'll do my time.
Just let me be.
Who are you to say what's right?
Who are you to judge me?
No one, that's who.
I will not leave.
