Honey, I'm HOME!!!

After a couple of weeks without internet -- I'm BAAACK...
did ya'll miss me.
I'm officially a resident of Red Hill Texas now (just outside the world famous city of Atlanta TX). We got in the night before Christmas Eve and I've barely left here since. Building a porch right now.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year (heck I stayed up till almost 10, but gave it up before midnight). Ate my damn blackeyed peas on NY day (did I mention I HATE blackeyed peas).
We're still moving stuff. Got my office set up, but don't have the living room furniture in yet -- we'll get to that before spring -- I did move my "love" (massage) chair, so that's the living room furniture right now -- and the TV.
Caleb loves it up here - all kinds of DIRT and red MUD to play in (and he does).
Still don't have a phone hooked up. They gave me a number and all that, but said it would be the 16th before I'd have any service. So we're making do with cell phones.
Got a lot of catching up to do... Someone want to summarize it for me? Haven't even check the obits or the lottery for a couple of weeks. Don't even know if I'm alive or rich yet.
Anyhow, ya'll watch what you say cause I'm Watching you now...

Glad to see you back again.
Pretty much same ol', same ol' around here. The rabble rousers, the nice ones, the not so nice ones, the birthday ones, the King and the wannabe Kings, the not well ones and to top it all off - Chewy's been runnin' around Dodge wearin' a bloody Speedo! Last I heard they were holding him hostage at the Canadian border.
Our Helen has been quite ill so she doesn't fit into the above category at all. She can use all the well wishes we can toss across the pond at her, poor thing.
Stay well and post pics of that new house, okay!

Jean, as soon as the porch is finished (hopefully this week) the chairs are the FIRST thing that goes on. come on down and sit a spell.
Maybe the next time Matt comes down we can have our get together out here (about as close as Atlanta and I'm a pretty good cook - how's beans and cornbread sound? )
