Title: Mr. & Mrs. Deej....
Post by brewcrew on Dec 31st, 2006, 9:02am
If you're thinking about moving up north and opening a place of your own, this place, right down the street from us, is for sale. You don't even have to change the signage.

C'mon up! The schools are above average, the weather sucks, and the 128th Refueling Group lives at Mitchell International Airport.

Uh honey?  You forgot to mention the outrageous property and state taxes here in Wisconsin . . . . another reason to live here!

But DJ's is right across the street from the best meat market in the land.  The bratwurst alone will make up for the taxes you pay . . . .

Ah Yes Jonny, I forgot about that. . . . You with your two conservative, oh-so-moral Senators . . . .</sarcasm>

Here's a little political trivia for you . . . which state is the only state to have two Jewish Senators??

Hmmm. I guess I learn something new every day.

Three leading dairy producers, three all-Jewish Senate contingencies. I'm trying to figure out if there's some connection.

Well thank you Linda . . . I stand corrected.

I thought little old Wisconsin was the only state . . . . and it's so weird.  My only brush with political greatness was standing in line at the grocery store in front of Jim Sensenbrenner . . . . he was buying cold medicine.

But anyway, why aren't DJ and Mrs. Deej checking into this very important thread?

LOL.

Happy New Year all.

Move a little to the west Jonny and you'll feel right at home.

I feel sorry for you younguns that didn't see the Kennedys in the early sixties before Ted went off the deep end....literally. They were so much fun.
Everybody in the country had his version of a JFK accent thanks to Vaughn Meader, even my dad.

Sigh....instead we get a Bush dynasty. http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/gifs/suicide.gif

DJ is a married man now.  This property with the ample parking lot and blank wall may have set the scene for a DJ adult drive-in, Top Cat meets Betty Boop on 8mm.  He'll have to pass on the idea I bet, Mrs. Deej may have ideas of a flower shop though he'd now have to agree with if there might be interest.  Yeah, that would be what he was thinking too.   ::)

Kev,

hmmmm...we are trying to sell our house...I could knock out some window space, build a garage...

No thank you Brew, but I appreciate the thought!   ;)

I don't do your weather very well....

It was just a thought...

Anyhow, now my company has put us on a travel freeze, so I won't be headed down your way for awhile (unless I can classify it as an "operational emergency" ). I hope I can get down there and take you guys out to dinner before RichCon.

Well that sucks!  :-/

Well, I guess it's time to make it official, DJ and I will not be able to attend Richmond this year, my doctor won't allow me to travel.  :'(  We are hoping to make it up to DavCon instead.  DJ is on 12 hour shifts and may not be able to take leave, but I'm sure we will work it all out.

Hopefully we can get together soon.

;)

Well, that sucks, too! Although some things DO take priority, and doc's orders are one of them. We do understand.

Don't worry, though - my travel freeze won't last THAT long. And it'll be GREAT to see you guys in a few weeks in the garden spot of the midwest, if you can make it.
