Borgund stave church in the Sogn area is the bestknown,best preserved and most typical of Norwegian stave churches.About 1150 it was dedicated to the apostle St, Andrews and has NOT been added to or rebuildt since.

You Viking lot really know how to preserve wooden antiques ;;D

The design is almost Asian, interestingly !

Hmm... Sogn area you say... I think I might have seen that Stave Church back in 1995 when my family traveled around Norway. :)

Very nice. Saw me one of them at Epcot Center in the Norwegian Pavillion. Probably not so old as that one you posted. ;)

What do you think of Obadiah Shoher's views on the Middle East conflict? One can argue, of course, that Shoher is ultra-right, but his followers are far from being a marginal group. Also, he rejects Jewish moralistic reasoning - that's alone is highly unusual for the Israeli right. And he is very influential here in Israel.
