Why does life have to get in the way of living?

I'm not even sure if I belong here, but I've been doing some research and came across this board. It seems like a wonderful group of people.
My father suffered from CH's and my younger brother is currently suffering from them as well. We live about 6 hours apart from each other, so I feel totally helpless. He is very fortunate that his wife is an amazing supporter. (I have sent her info about this place) In some ways I think I need to be support for her more than my brother. The toll these things take on a family is just unthinkable. He has suffered from the CH's for about 10 years now.
So, if anyone has any suggestions on how I can help from so far away, I'm all ears. He is seeing a headache specialist and has the O2 and I think most of the other things I've read so far. He's in a bad cycle right now, thus my research gathering--hoping for that something new and miraculous (sp) like everyone here I guess.
