Title: Newbie
Post by Lonnie on Sep 29th, 2007, 10:24am
Hi guys, I am new to the board but not to the beast.
I started my 3rd series about 6 weeks agao. It had been at least 8 years and since I am 47 I really thought I had this beat. It's great having this site.

Hope all is well and everyone has a pain free day.
Lonnie

Thanks guys, can't say it's good to be here [smiley=laugh.gif], but....

Having 3-5 a day. On imitrex inj, nasal and pills. Take oxygen as much as possible. Just cancelled last two trips that required flight. Hopefully I am close to the end of this cycle. It is very good to have this site. I have given it to folks since most don't understand what theses are including some health care pros. Thats ok, I don't want anyone to know the way we do anyway. My last one happens at 1:30am so these are really kicking my butt and making me tired.

Have a great weekend

Wow....8 years, huh?   That is an almost unheard of time between cycles.  I am very happy for you.  Now I hope this new cycle is over with soon and it will be another 8 years til the next one.  If ever.

What meds exactly are you taking at the moment?  Preventatives, abortives, etc.
If you have read some of the posts here,  you will hear  that a lot of us use 02 as an abortive, as well as Imitrex and other drugs that act to contract the vessels and arteries bsack to their normal size.

Linda

Hope the beast stays away!!!

I'm on Prednisone right now and I've got to admit, I feel great!

I had almost 5 years PF, I thought I had it beat too.
