Title: I suck at supporting
Post by Gena on Apr 17th, 2006, 1:12pm
For the last 3 nights my 14 year old has been getting hit. Thank god it is only 1 every evening!!!!
Same time everynight! I have to leave the room and let tom handle it because I just get to upset and that makes chris more upset. Mine I can handle, Toms I can handle, but my 14 year old son  :-/ Sometimes I just feel like there is no justice.

Sorry just needed to vent

Gena I know exactly how you feel. I don't mind getting hit at the same time as Jasper because at least then I feel I'm in the same boat. Its the toughest thing in the world seeing someone you love in that pain, especially when you know exactly what that pain is.. and when its someone you gave birth to ...  [smiley=hug.gif]

You DO NOT SUCK AT SUPPORTING! Its so bloody hard I don't know how we do it. I do it because I have no choice in the matter. If you cna't cope then getting out of the way is the best you can do for all concerned. It will come, you'll get angry and want to fight it but it takes time.
What does your son use?  Does he use O2? Have you got a clustermasx? If not and he uses' o2 I'll send you one. We're in this together hon and anytime you need a shoulder or a punchbag I'm right here okay?
lots of love
Helen

He does use O2, At night we have him on Melatonin and my mind is a blank as to the other pill Thomas gives him.
Other then that I think that he has heard way to much b*tching about trex and rebounds. He will not take anything else. We keep talking about getting a clustermask but have not done it.

1st of all don't be sorry. its ok. :) thats what we're here for. As you may know, I'm a supporer of two and suffer migrains myself at only 14. I have been fighting since I was about 12 and watching what it does to my father since I was 9. My suffers aren't always as lucky as your son. There are days I wake up and they've all ready been hit 2 or 3 times. Your right that it might seem there is no justice but there's nothing to stop that. I hope he feels better. Good luck! :-*

Always,
Felicia
