act as a trigger. What about decongestants.  My allergies seem to be at full bloom and my headaches seem to be ramping up as well.

Decongestants may help. Before I had 02 Claritin D made my life bearable.

But everyone is different. I know that is not much help, sorry  Undecided

I have suspected decongestents of being a major trigger.  Of course, as we all know, when we are in cycle we are getting headaches all the time anyway, but I have a bad feeling about decongestents.  In any event, they certainly didn't do me any good!

Diphenhydramine is not a trigger for me.  i take it every nite.  A nice thing about it is that is reduces my stuffy cluster nose considerably.

I have also taken some other ones when i have had the sniffles, such as Day-quil, and i have not noticed it be a trigger

I'm with B$. While I don't take diphenhydramine every night (I use simple saline nasal spray before bed), when I do use it I don't notice any trigger effect.

Numerous allergies here. Claritin is a good friend with no bad effects (only doesn't last as long as claimed). Don't use decongestants, so can't comment on those.

Thanks everyone .  I am chronic but  have been getting more 8-9's th 5-6's this week.  I guess I was trying to make 2 plus 2 equal 12 (g).  BTW the boogers have switched sides back and forth this week and that hardly ever happens.

I take antihistimines but avoid decongestants, even though I really need them, down here in Louisiana pollen is bursting and weather is killing my sinuses. Stay away from decongestants. My doc told me to avoid them, he said they do the opposite of the verapamil, I guess they expand the blood vessels. I was wondering if the nighttime nasel spray would trigger headache.
Now the good news, 2 days with no headaches. This has been my longest cycle, almost 7 weeks. Sometimes it's hard for me to tell the difference between "shadows" and allergey or sinus trouble. But I think I'm finally on my way out of this cycle.
