body temperature

hi,i read about exercising in warm enviroments being a trigger a bit ago and i noticed that sometimes when i had a hot bath ide get a bad un,anyone else have this or is it just coincidence?? been having a cold bath for 5 days and it aint happened at bath time since??thanks stuart

I don't know, but I've noticed a general drop in my body temperature from 36,8'C to 35,8'C since the clusters started last autumn. The doctor didn't think there's anything to it.

Definately. I used to take sauna a lot, triggered me every time, so I stopped.
Hot tubs are bad news too.

I am more susceptible to heat when in cycle, and sweating makes the CH worse.

I've got hit quite often just minutes after a warm shower, so it is absolutely one of the things which trigger ch for me.

interesting thread- something i have been going back and forth with with myself too. When I am feeling bad, lots of shadows, exhausted from the stress of dealing with the cycle i want a hot bath- I then always feel worse after, shadows are worse , etc.
So i have been thinking that the heat is trigger for me- I live in nc and a couple of days this week have been warm almost hot to point of sweating too. But i didn't notice that my head felt worse then- Been wondering whether if this cycle goes in summer and summer is extremely hot here- will that extend the cycle or make shadows worse?
something i've been thinking about too

I am one of those folks was always warmer than the average person. Everyone would bring a sweater to my house even if it was 90 degrees outside
Since I started having CH or better yet started the topamax/dopamax I am FREEZIN brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr always. Very strange

High temperature was a definite trigger for my husband. Even when out of cycle, a few weeks ago when he did a lot of work outside under the hot sun and got tired and sweaty, he got a lingering shadow which was building slowly. He had to stop, take a cold shower and a Red bull before that one went away.
I think excessive heat causes vasodilation which can trigger a hit.

When I'm getting hit my internal thermostat goes sky high. My house stays COLD - I just can't stand heat at all (baths excluded - they don't seem to bother me).
I do wear sunglasses outside (can't stand direct sunlight on my eyes at any time - winter or summer).
I've been on topamax since 99 so I don't think that's the reason - I think it's just the darn headaches.

Yer that happens to me when in cycle hot baths give me a screamer, but fine when not in cycle!
Doesnt have to be the bath if the heating is too high and no windows are open that can start one if i get too hot!
