Title: I have a question
Post by thenucman on Feb 3rd, 2006, 10:46pm
In all my discussions with my Neuro about my CH's, the one thing that is ignored is my glands on the side of my neck.
When I am in cycle, I get a 'stiff neck' and if a dare to massage my neck or lay on that side putting any kind of pressure on the neck, I can guarantee a CH.
To me, this means something, I just don't know what?
It may not mean anything, but I am now 53. I have been having CH's for 7 years. When I was 19, I had Mono. After that any time I got a cold or any kind of sinus condition, the glands on that side would swell. Now they swell every time I am in cycle.
Any ideas?

Wow ..now thats interesting!! Is it sensitive? Can it trigger a CH? I know warped curiosity, but I can't help it  :P

i showed it to the new guy(neuro) could be a true cluster lump...i guess its common.(i thought it could be an infected node)but, he said no, if its so much as touched during a cluster, it will start a headache.

I had this issue for many years: could not sleep on my back without triggering an attack and, quite often, sitting in a chair which put pressure on the general area of the kidneys would also servce as a trigger.
