havent had a biggie since march 14, ended my pred taper monday, woke up yesterday with intense pain on the right side of head, behind eye (my CH was on left)........still have today, seems duller, but alot of stabbing behind right eye.................2 ?"s........could it be the stopping of the pred taper? or could it possibly be the CH trying to find "a new home " on the right? call in to my doctor, however, you people are much smarter than him!!!!!!!

I read this part as you saying that the pain is constant? Am I mis-reading this? Might help to know more specifics about the symptoms.

It's rare, but not unheard of for the pain to swap sides.

If the pain is constant, it may be that you have a second headache type going on and talking to the Doc is the only sure fire way to know what is happening.

My attacks have always been on the right. EXCEPT for one time, many, many years ago when I got a single hit on the left. Maybe just a fluke...Here's hopin

Mine switched to the right side last year about this time (during a high cycle). I about went bezerk.... after years of being leftie didn't know what to do. :)... But when the high cycle was broken -- everything went back to the left side just like always. Go figure... Haven't had a twinge on the right side since.

This damn beast just doesn't make ANY sense!!!!!

Most of my cycles are on my left but every couple years I'll get hit on the right side.

My full blown attacks are allways on the right, but I will sometimes shadow on the left.
