Title: Yawning....
Post by jjslugdog on Apr 26th, 2008, 10:23am
I've noticed over the years that usually when an attack is starting to wane, I start yawning over and over.  Anybody else have or notice this?

I hadnt really noticed this, although i have trained myself to yawn with the O2 mouthpiece in my mouth.  I'll have to keep my eye out for this.

Although, I have noticed that after a night of getting hit every hour for 6 hours I do yawn a lot the next day.

It could be the fluxing serotonin. In a study of drugs that cause yawning as a side effect, the most commonly noted ones are those that affect serotonin.

Interesting article, especially since there is probable connection between serotonin and the beast.  I'm not on any meds that affect serotonin, though.  Maybe it just the lack of sleep....  [smiley=snore.gif]

I get the yawning thing at the end of a round with the beast, It's a good feeling to know you've survived another one :)
