We have very strict rules here as well, we do not fall under the EU . I think I can only take two bottles of wine and 200 ciggis., to the uk and the same bringing in. But I will check the allowance for the USA.

I may be wrong, but I think you're allowed to bring 1 fifth/bottle into the US (I'll ask sarah when she gets home). carolyn

Tanya, make it easy on yourself and just bring something small and non-breakable. I'd hate to see you wearing clothes all week-end that had red stains on them from a broken bottle of wine. Helen has brought English tea and bisquits in years past. Just a thought that where you are from, MUST have some other regional things that you can bring without a huge problem with customs..etc. Someone from Switzerland is sending Swiss Chocolates, Svenn in Norway will be bringing something "Viking" Wisconsinites will be sending cheese, etc. It doesn't and shouldn' t be a problem for you. That is not what we want. We want you to just get here and have a great time. Linda

Oh hell, Tanya, Jimbo and I went to the meet in dallas and didn't have anything for the auction. I tried to offer Jimbo, but couldn't get any takers . Carolyn

Thank everybody, its not a big issue, except I was not aware of the problem for booze, I am sure I can find something local that will not be a problem. If not then its the good old fall back on the the Airport shop which always does a good selection of sweeties. Giant Tolberone get ready to travel
