I am baffled by the lack of response on this Message Board from people who shared their thoughts with me about the direction this E-mail Target Campaign should go. I listened, made the suggested changes, and it still seems like there is some kind of internal blockage that I just cannot fathom. I’m not going to go away, you all know that by now, so can’t we all join hands for awhile? Just once a week?
We are only planting seeds. We are not harvesting a full blown National Prime Time Special, we are only planting seeds. But we will plant these seeds every fucking week, every fucking year. These are magical seeds. They are free. Why wouldn’t you plant one or two?

OK my friends….I’m going to go out on the proverbial limb here but I HAVE JUST ABOUT FUCKING HAD IT with:
1- Insurance companies who have no compassion for people in REAL, VERIFIABLE, OBVIOUS, ______fill in the blank with your favorite adjective________PAIN
2- Doctors, who in their arrogance, cannot listen to the people in the trenches, the people who, like Donna and nancyc and Margi (and all the rest of the sufferers and supporters of people who have a reason to BE in an ER), SEES, HEARS, even SMELLS the fear and agony of people who come to the ER as a second to last resort to stepping off the subway platform in front of the “A” train
3- The drug dealers who put their bleeding PROFIT line above any reasonable hope of finding a cure for clusters and AIDS and diabetes and cancer and all of the other horrible diseases that afflict us all
4- And, not least of all, you whining, pathetic, CLUSTERHEADS, who let the afore-mentioned push you around. YOU are the ones that most PISS ME OFF! I just read cranpain’s post and I wish I had said that. I could probably come up with some more of the same…..but that’s just what it would be: MORE OF THE LAME SAME GAME ABOUT PAIN……we’ve heard it….we’ve FUCKING FELT IT…to each his/her own corner of personal Hell…I cannot define your pain, feel it, change it, make it better, kiss your boo-boo, nor can YOU…..Mr/Mrs/Dr/lawyer/veteran/manager/burgerflipper/mother/ lover/father/brother/weenie/cat-hater/yadder-fader…….know how I deal with MY beast….thank God for that…..
BUT IF WE ALL DON’T GET ON OUR FEET…WE WILL SURELY SUFFER ON OUR KNEES….
There’s a few of you who are doin’ what needs to be done…..Elaine and her chat and her new store…Ueli and his research….Pinky and Flash and the shroomery…Don & Den & Ted & Lee & Bob & Mast & kim & Pappy & Liz & Jackie & Jack & jonny & Ave & Drk & Charlie & on & on & on…..they’re all here damn near every hour of every day and they all contribute SOMETHING….even if I don’t agree or even have a clue what the hell they’re bitchin & pissin & moanin ABOUT.
But DAMMIT…..this OUCH deal has got to be PROACTIVE and get the word out somehow to the doctors and insurance companies and the drug dealers and us who suffer. I haven’t done diddly about it either…I am just as bad (or as good) as any in HERE or out THERE who has yet to find this small, discordant haven.
The thing that chaps the most me is when I hear/read of somebody who has a SHOT at making a difference, of TELLING that arrogant/ignorant neurologist that there are alternative treatments and drugs……of FAILING to put out the caring hand to some poor kid who thinks his brain is exploding…….of flat-out DEMANDING that drug companies be held accountable for ridiculous prices.
Don’t even bother telling me I’m just pissin’ in the wind….I know…I know….but if I can spread just a little bit of the word and know I’m not alone…..well, hell…we all may just find the courage to keep the light turning and the craziness to shout it out…..Thanks for the opportunity to make a difference……Thanks to all of you.

Did it again. I am a firm believer in those that stand up for themselves may fall, but have pride. Those that just complain ... keep on complaining.
Keep up the good work. I appreciate the links, and how easy you make this for us. I just wish everyone else thought they could make a difference by responding.
Come on guys !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are in charge of our illness. If we don't take the time to try and doing SOMETHING about it ...... who the hell do you think will ???????

Just wanted to say that I send e-mails to every 'target' you put on the board (even if I didn't reply and say so).
Keep up the good work and I'll try to do my part too.
I hope everyone else is putting up there story too.
I even offer to the 'targets' to give them full access to my medical records and 'my story'. You never know, maybe one of them will take me up on the offer and I'll be put on TV to tell the world about clusters & this site.

Sure hope that's the case for everyone. Folks are always asking "What can I do to help.....?" Doesn't get any easier than this. As long as we keep throwing lines in the water, we'll have a chance of something biting our baited hook.
