Where have I gone wrong? I'm 57 years old, when I smoked, I smoked more than most people for 16 years, have done 100s of antique shows but have never heard of such a thing as a cigarette snuffer.

I learn something every day.

I knew what a suffer is but mostly candle snuffers. What these look like are very poorly designed or defective thimbles :D

They are very good you put your ciggarettie in the hole on top when you are ready to put it out. Its out in 7 seconds no more massing it into the ash try. You don't have to worry if its out or not. Buddy likes the one I got him. Try these you will like them :-)

I'm the same Charlie......I never heard of snuffers before either.......I used to have several of these with teeny carosel horses painted on them and was told they were some sort of thimbles ? Never could picture how you would sew with them and there way to small to be a shot glass. Kind of a cool idea for cig smokers Pam
