Tia,  I didn't mention that I used nicorette gum the last time I quit.  I was a very situational smoker. Driving, work breaks, after meals and sex, opening my eyes in the am etc.  The gum was unpleasant but it kept me from totally loosing it during those moments.  The gum also bought me time to change some of my habits that were triggers.  The only one that still kicks me in the ass is a cold beer, outside on a hot summer night, chattin'  it up with my best girlfriends. I'm starting again when I turn 80 with those same girlfriends.  Wanna join us? Till then hang tough.

Chantix make me sicker then shit. I could not even keep water down. I figure smoking was better then puking my guts out.

The last time I quit was when I found out I was preg with my daughter.  Never had a problem until the day after I had her I wanted a smoke so damn bad.  But I stayed quit. Until I was working high stressed job 60+ hrs a week, and I worked with construction guys that the only time I could talk to them, they where standing out back having a smoke.

Figured I'd do better to stop cold turkey. As long as I dont buy any I'm good.

Damn girl, you have bigger ones than me!  I too, started again after my son's birth working on construction with the guys.  I still miss those breaks- best jokes ever.  Surprisingly, I've run out of advice.  All that's left is great respect and encouragement.

Nice going. I'm proud of all non-smokers. I know how hard it can be for some.
