Not sure where else to put this...
It's 10pm. It's not that late, except I have to get up at 5am tomorrow for work.
I would like to sleep.
The beast, however, is keeping me awake. It's attacking me with a vengeance. Accompanying the beast is tinnitus, which is providing the perfect hellish chorus.
I am very annoyed!

hope your PF soon. as for the tinnitus, when the beast lessens to an acceptable level to sleep try having the radio on, adjust volume for comfort. helps a little having something else to consentrate on. andrew.

Good advice, andrew......exactly what my Mom's doctor told her to do. It helps.

Morning all,
Thanks for the well-wishes, they were much appreciated. I did manage to get some sleep last night but probably not enough.
Unfortunately I am feeling worse than last night, but at least I made it to the slave factory work 
I have tried using the radio in the past to mask the ringing but I usually end up having to blast it right up. Usually the ringing doesn't bother me but it seems to have grown louder lately
