My home internet is fried :(

It may be a while before I'm up and running again, but will pop in here from work when I can.

When we had the severe storms last Thurs, something must've hit or whacked out my satellite dish, haven't been able to get on since.
My provider said it may take till 06/10+ to get a tech out to fix it. THIS SUX!.

You could try dialup for the short term. Pretty cheap and many have short term contracts.
May be able to find a satellite replacement modem and transmitter on e-bay if your system isn't covered by ins. or warranty.
