Daughter MRI (update for today)

May I ask for just a bit of love and peace to be thrown toward my daughter Miranda. She is having and MRI today. They think she has a tumor on her pituatary. Even though everything I've found on the subject looks like she should be ok she is still very unnerved.

I have a pituitary tumor. I have had it about 8+ years diagnosed. There are many many different kinds of tumors, some are producing tumors some are not. Either way, a pit tumor is a 99.5% ALWAYS benign.
There are 5 different pituitary centers in the US and Canada, and one of the first steps you will want to do is get a GOOD endocrinologist, one well versed in pituitary disorders. A neuro surgeon can also be in order to monitor it for growth.
If you want I can get you loads of info on it, I have a novels worth with all the research I've. If it's a producing prolactinoma, then that is very treatable, in fact they are all very treatable with medication and surgery - transphenoidal surgeries, so it's one of the safest available.
