It will be great to meet you, so make sure you are fit and well .

Paul I know I love you more than rootbeer but believe me when I say.. sometimes little black dresses seem, frankly, irresistable! We are getting close to one of those times sweetie (and curry is too subtle for what I'll do to you!!)

Let me see....little black dress, or sheep head picture, or maybe guy with pants around ankles with sheep in the backround?  So the dress is kind of like wipping a dead man. [smiley=grin2.gif]  He, he, he :-*

You know the rest. In the books you have read,
How the British regulars fired and fled, --
How the farmers gave them ball for ball,
From behind each fence and farm-yard wall,
Chasing the red-coats down the lane,
Then crossing the fields to emerge again
Under the trees at the turn of the road,
And only pausing to fire and load.

Well here's  hoping  I will not be chased down the road, and am allowed to stay to meet you all.

Tanya, trust me on this.  You're going to be scared until about 2 mins. into meeting us.  After that you'll be working out plans in your head about how you can come to the next one.

2 min. Linda?  LOL.  We just have to be sure Helen is at the greeting gate.  Tanya will recognize the Mary Poppins speach and feel right at home.  ;)

I am such a stinker!   ;)

Paul I feel you will be disapointed, my accent will not be like Helens, I  am sure it does not sound like Mary Poppins.  We are told that the the Jersey accent is a bit like Aussie  and a bit like  South Africa, although I cannot see(hear) it my self.  I will await the verdict when  I get there.  I always think I speak proper Queens English  I do and do not have any accent - LOL

Tanya neither you or I have an accent - it's this bleedin' lot I'm telling you! Thank goodness I finally have back up!

Helen, Tanya already admitted to having a "Joisie" accent!  That I can live with since it is right near next to Neew Yoik in language!  As far as you having "back up"  Your blooming kaboose is almost non existant and I would preferr if you did not  reduce your "bumptuals" any more!  Thank you.......!

-P.
BTW/  you ALL talk with an accent!  Bleeding immigrants!  ;)

Now what the hell is a Joisie accent, and I am sure as hell did not admit  to having one .

Good quality Queens English I speak I tell you, I am sure you do not need an H in the front of a word or a T at the end, just wasted breathe that is.

A Joisie accent is just to the left of a Neu Yourk accent.  Quite distinct from a Brooklyn accent and a Bronx accent!  ;)   Very far west of a Syiosset-longg I-land accent.

I have to say that Helen has cast spells and has started to corrupt my english!  I catch myself saying To-mar-toes and Al-U-minnium!  Oh, the insidious corruption of language you Blokes foster upon us!  Ahhh, I did it again! ;)

You know I am teasing the Bejeebus out of you Tanya!

You all on the other side of the pond can't speak understandable English to save your life!

The only reason I put up with Helen's speach is to aswage her feelings.  You Brits are SO sensitive about heritage and all that sort on nonsense!  Americia is the vast melting pot for culture and we are, for the most part, an accepting bunch!  Why we even let LeLimey cros the boarder!  LOL.

just wait until you hit Dall-Ass!  Speach there will send you for a loop!  :)

Paul I know you were just pulling my leg, I wasn't sensitive about it all, I was struggling to understand what you were saying, once you got into local slang words  I was totally lost,

Helen has a very quick, wicked, and witty sense of humor I am not so quick as her or as good with words I am more straight laced English sence of humor.

I have troble understanding anyone from the north of England let alone  you foreign people from across the seas.

We might all say we speak English but there sure is a lot of different English out there

English TV is so full of American programmes that I will proberly understand most of you (I hope)

Oh no you don't,  Tony.  Don't you EVEN try to tell us that you won't be at the convention.  That just can't be.  It isn't right.  You are needed there.

  I WON'T HAVE IT...YOU HEAR ME?    >:(

awww... Linda sweetie... you are an angel... and yes I'm very upset that I won't be able to make the convention this year... I had so much fun at Richmond... getting to meet all of you was a life changer...

For any and all of you reading this... make every effort possible to go to the Dallas convention!!!  The principal speaker, Goadsby will be well worth it... but that pales in comparison to being with this family.

with warm regards,
Tony
