Note that the green palm leaves are white and the blue sky is black but the white clouds remain white. I used Konica 720Nm IR film with a red 25A filter and developed the negatives and prints myself. The lighthouse print is so sharp you can actually see the cracks of the bricks in the 8"x10" print. The instructors at the NMLB School at Cape D are super.     As a civilian photographer, I’m not allowed to go underway during SAR and training missions so all of my images were officially shot from shore  . (Those Mustang survival suits are really uncomfortable......)   The 47's are really high tech but I'm a huge fan of the Intrepid class 52's - that's an MLB! I've spent some time aboard some WPB 87's but my heart is in the 44, 47 and 52 MLB's.   What was your duty?     My latest shots from the beach.
