I'm back cause the beast is back...

A few of you may remember me, from about four years ago, when I found my wayto this site. I am in the National Guard, and I had gotten hit with an episode just before my unit was deploying. I toughed it out and the episode ended just before we went onto active duty, so I was able to go over with my unit. Fast forward four years without an episode, I just got married, I'm about to get my Associates Degree and transfer to a university. Then last week I got hit.... I was just starting to believe I was in remission...

Edit: I just realized it's actually been 5 years. And I forgot to say that I missed this place and you people!

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

I have felt really bad for not checking in with you guys, I have kept myself really busy going to school, getting married, and I think part of me was trying to forget about these stupid headaches. Now I am reminded....
Jonny, don't you have the one of me with the Barrett? Everybody seems to like that one better.

Melatonin at night -- Red Bull at the first sign and of course O2....
We've done about a thousand polls and haven't come up with anything new there, but.... some things just don't change.
Congrats on getting married. Have your bride check in on the supporters page - got lots of good help there.

Thank you Gator, that's one of my favorite pictures, pulling security from the rooftop of the Al Rasheed hotel in downtown Baghdad. That was during the elections in 04-05. Obviously I was up there to be a deterrent, and it worked rather well. I guess there's something intimidating about a rifle that can punch a hole through an engine block!
I finally dragged myself to a doctor, who listened, and he got me some Prednisone and Verapimil. I am just finishing the Prednisone blast and getting ready to try the Verap and see if the dose is enough. I hope this works!!
