M...

I have recently had someone contact me who tried to order a few things from Seacrest.  Hose, adaptor, Mask, and a few other things that I don't have... tosend her.  She placed her order and was told she needed a script in order for her order to be processed.

That boggles my mind.  Is this true?

I understand needing a script for 02 and one usually gets everything one needs at that time..but she is simply trying to get a few plastic parts, if you will... and now cannot.

Any help is appreciated.

So we would have to contact you personally for purchases? What happens if you die?  Grin Do you have a link for parts and pieces available without a perscription? I could use some parts where do I go?

Well,  hoping not to die anytime soon, but anyone here would be happy to help.  Parts can be purchased through www.sea-long.com but you can only get fantastic customer service with a Kentucky twang by giving us a call.

For those of you using masks, do you use a headstrap as well or simply hold it to your face?

Thanks for the input,

We encourage people to cut the straps off of the re breather masks. The concern is they'll fall asleep, the 02 tank runs dry and the concern is with suffocating.

I don't see the photo.  But that brings me to another question-Do you prefer a mouthpiece to a mask and if so, do you feel you get the same results with it?

I use only the mouthpiece. No chance of leakage around the edges, and it just feels better. Also easier to transport in a purse or briefcase.

I have used both but prefer the cushion mask.

Something to to with a greater 'feeling' of security - may sound a bit weird and a bit girly; but not as girly as Brew's purse Wink

Others have reported that they don't like the claustrophobic feeling of the mask and others like biting the mouthpiece hard whilst inhaling.  Each to their own - but I think both options should be made available, as Ben did with the clustermasx.

Thanks with all your help on this M.  Not sure if anyone has asked, but do you ship to the UK?

Thanks for all the input.  I will get a mouthpiece sample in here as well.  Don't think it will be any issue at all.

I can ship anywhere in the world as long as the country doesn't have import restrictions.  I also have a distributor in UK that can help but I will have to make sure he has all your parts in stock if you are interested.

Thanks for the help everyone. Samples of the masks you reference are arriving daily and I will get a mouthpiece in here shortly.  Stay tuned...

I checked and he doesn't carry all the parts.  It will be less expensive for me to send them to you via postal service than to ship a few parts to him.  If you want to order contact me at mfleig@sea-long.com on Monday. I am about to check out for the weekend.

Take care everyone and hope it is a peaceful one for you!

Hi, Everyone!

I have tried to find breathing bags larger than 3-Liters but they aren't available.  3L is the medical standard so I hope these will work for you.

Hi, Everyone!

Just wanted to let you know I forwarded some additional parts for your use to my distributor in England yesterday.  He will have them as of Monday afternoon (April 14th).  Let me know if this is a closer shipping location for any of you and I will  have him contact you.

I have both mask samples that are referenced at mushy's but I'm still trying to obtain the mouthpiece.  Apparently one style has been discontinued but I think we have another that will work exactly the same.  Stay tuned and let me know if you need anything- mfleig@sea-long.com.
