a Little about me....

Well i've been posting on here a little while now as a supporter of my hubby rick who is a CH sufferer.
i have to say, i'm sooooo grateful for the immense support and love that i've gotten from all of you.
i never really told yall much about me, so if you're interested to know me a bit better, here goes....
i'm orginally from Texas,
I'm a stanford grad, class of 86.
i've worked in the fashion industry for 20+ years. as buyer, merchandiser, designer, and fashion exec for some big name companies.
i currently own my own ladies boutique called Minx Fashion Shoppe, if you wanna see what it looks like, visit www.minxshoppe.com.
along with my store, i host an internet radio talk show called Curvy Fashionista. You can listen to my show live on Thursdays at 11am PST and call in and say HI!! or you can download it any time. if you visit www.bbstalkradio.com and click on curvy fashionista, you can find me there.
i am an aspiring fiction writer, and have an amazing manuscript that i'm looking for agent representation for, that is one of my goals for this year.
my other exciting news for this year is....i'm also an aspiring semi pro poker player. i play mostly in tournaments only. this year i WON my $10,000 buy in to the world series of poker in Las Vegas! Rick and I will be traving to vegas in July for me to play in that on July 5th. I'll also be playing in the Ladies WSOP on June 8th. so wish me LUCK that i can win millions of dollars and find a cure for CH! and maybe retire to Thailand!
Rick and I met online at Match.com. We were engaged shortly after and were married on the famous Queen Mary Shiip almost 4 years ago. we have a beautiful home, Spike, our chihuahua two fat cats and lots and lots and lots of FISHIES!
i'm very lucky to have a handsome, loving, protective, supportive husband. 
that's pretty much it, in a nut shell....again thank you all for being there for me during this difficult cycle. i hope to get to know you all better, weather we're in or out of cycle.

I do have a sister, and she lives in Texas...but trust me, you wouldn't want nutin' to do with her. she's a drug addict and a taker  hopefully someday she'll get her stuff together and join normal society again.

I appreciate you're telling us about you too. Wow...you're very busy aren't you?
Hopefully you can try to attend the next get-gether of California clusterheads and get to know some of us also. It can give you immense insight meeting others with this condition in person. For you as well as your husband.
Our first get-together was in Sacramento and the last was in San Diego.
