Anyone been on elivil? I have been on it for about a month as a preventive and have had some strange symptoms. Yesterday made a trip to E.R . my left side went all cold and tingly. and I could not use my arms right , like a lead weight was holding them down. when trying to type my fingers would miss the key and hit between, It was really a strange feeling. The ER said it was either my brain mis-firing (common with migranes or cluster headaches) or symptoms of ms. Has anyone experience this. or heard of mis-firing brain?

I've had similar sideeffects from different meds.
Highly doubt that it is from CH as ER suggested.
Amitriptyline (elavil) is not used that often with us and there are certainly better preventatives with fewer sideeffects.
