Title: o2 Question
Post by TxBasslady on Jan 18th, 2006, 12:30am
I got o2 December 29th.    It works great....knocks the shit outta the CH for me.    However, since I started the o2, I get a second CH hit about 3 hours later.    I get on the o2 again...and it knocks it right out.

Not sure I understand why I'm getting a double whammy.   I thought maybe I needed to stay on it a bit longer..after the 1st CH goes away....but it doesn't matter...and has no effect on the return of the next hit.

Just wonderin...if this is the case for anyone else?    I know sometimes when you change the routine, things get a bit hairy for a few days...guess I'm hoping this is the case for me.

O2 knocks it out, but not necessarily out for good. That's the job of prevents/abortives/alt's. If one doesn't wish to partake of pharmacopia, then it's huff O2 often, as needed, PRN. Pain in the ass, always requiring a tank nearby. I hate the green paint color, and the NRB masx _so_ clashes with my cumberbun.

Good thing the O2 tank doesn't have nice tits.

Thanks Randy....what you say makes sense.

Guess I was hoping it would pass...and settle down.  When I started the Kudzu, the first couple weeks were terrible.   Week 3 the CH settled down and I had great results.   December is a bad month for me...I still took the Kudzu, but it didn't seem to be as effective.   I thought adding the o2 would help, and it really has.

I also have (as of today) tapered off the Kudzu.   Even with the Zu, when I used the o2, I got the 2nd hit.

Good thing about the o2 is that at 12 lpm, it kicks the CH in less than 10 min. for me.

Thanks again, dear...I appreciate all of your help.

Love ya,

J

Ozzy, the facist pig, has taken to multi-week breaks from Kudzu......chewing/snorting the triptan de jour to make it thru......then gone back on Kudzu with excellent results, if you believe that sort of person.
It's something to consider, especially since I think Kudzu is the world's greatest placebo, even tho I have 4 bottles in the cabinet. Right next to the Bag-O-Triptans. O2 is behind the chair.

Shit. No Zyprexa.

I do believe taking a break from the shit we take helps, no matter what it is.

When the melatonin quit working, I ditched it... tried to take it again....and it didn't work.   I'll see how it goes without the zu....and if need be I'll try it again.

Yesterday was first day with no zu at all.   Slept like a baby last nite....life is good!!!   I'll take the pf time anyway I can get it.....but I'll be happy with one day at a time.    I found that you can't be too damn selfish...if you get 1 day pf....be glad you got it.      :-*

I have to take cafergot when I start the 02 or the ha always comes back 10-30 minutes later. The combo 02 and cafergot stops the ha from blooming and keeps it away the rest of the day.

LMAO...yep, just now decided to take the plunge!    Jackie has been after me all this time to try it...

I have to admit, I should have done it sooner...but some of the other methods were working for me, and I thought I didn't need it.    But now that I have it....I ain't giving it up!    ;;D
