Post by upnover on Feb 9th, 2006, 11:06am
I went to the neuro last week for a follow up I'm doing good PFDN's for about 2weeks.. We started talking about this web site and all the great tools that are here.
He asked me if there was much talk about Botox .. I did a search and only got 1 post .If you have used this as a treatment let me know or if you have a link for more info cool.. Thanks in advance Tom

I used botox for a couple of years.  It prevented my migraines but did nothing for my ch.  Then quit working alltogether for my migraines.

Hanging in there........

http://www.headachedrugs.com/archives/efficacy_botulinum_toxin.html..........

There are others but it appears that way more research is needed and that what they are finding is limited.

Oh well. No doubt one of the king researchers will pop up here and drop some more knowledge

My last Neuro used botox for migraines but didnt think that it would help CH. It is not covered by most insurances and is about 400 per shot.
