Title: treatemt that works
Post by pete-r on Apr 8th, 2007, 7:00am
;;D hi all, ive been a sufferer for 15 years, every year. last year i was attuned to reiki , 1, 2, and master level, after 6 months of self treatment and help from my master ive finally become headache free !!!!!!!!!
at first i found that psyliciben cubensis (thailand) helped enormously, they stopped the headache straight away, not a full dose but half a mushroom. any one who is a sufferer and wants to learn reiki i will attune for free, just mail me and well go from there, im based in hereford uk.  good luck all............

I guess it makes sense but only if its the iron type reiki.

The green plastic reikis are useless but a good whack in the squash with an iron reiki sometimes feels better than the CH attack.

Am I the only person who doesn't know what a reiki is? Is it an herb? A martial art? Who knows, if it works, and he's offering franchises in the states, I can be first on board!! Then you'll all come begging to me!!!! Yeah....that's the ticket!   ;;D   (but seriously, what is a reiki???)

I guess the UK has it's own share of the trolls/snake-oil salesmen/"I haven't got a clue what the f*** I am talking about"   people    too.   :-[

What kills me?   Is people who come here and do not read ANYTHING.   They do not realize that we have seen that , been there, done that, tried everything...HEARD EVERYTHING.

"The majority of the scientific community considers Reiki to be pseudoscience. Some studies have shown that the effect of Reiki is similar to that of a placebo."

The belief is: "The Reiki energy will go where it needs to for healing."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reiki
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudoscience

Off to my Neuro.  Will let y'all know if Reiki is brought up.

I read a book "With Great Mercy" which was written by a facial pain sufferer.  The Author had a very strong Religious and Spiritual background, neither of which took away or stopped the facial pain.

I will never underestimate the power of the mind.  Perhaps this person believes Reiki helped them.  Chances are they are still eating shrooms.

Reiki is a excellent form of relaxation and it does have a positive effect on the person being treated. I have both recieved and treated people with this method.
However, the important point I wish to make is..........it's the psyliciben that stopped your pain. After all the different meds and acupunture, etc. chinese herbs etc. it was the mushrooms.  Perhaps Reiki helped you to be more receptive to psyliciben. Just my own two cents.  I believe this person is sincere. Call me gullible.

Perhaps. But if your pipes burst, do you call an electrician?

No doubt it does some good. But to claim that it chases CH out the door is pure poppycock.

Good for you. So happy that this Japanese technique fixed whatever it was that was ailing you.

It wasn't CH.

And if your cycle happened to end on queue, did you consider for a moment that it might be...

coincidence?

AHA!!  1/2 ounce a day or so I'm guessing?  You'll never get any reiking done like that,...your yard must be FULL of leaves,...and drool. ;;D

I appreciate the input but I'm sticking with the tried and true regimen of Aura manipulation, skittles and never making left hand turns.  Works for me.

I will try the peanut butter though :)

Is "sarcastic wit" a common factor among CH sufferers?  I think it just may be.

I only make left hand turns when I leave on a fishing trip on a Friday. then I must make three turns Windershuns after I leave the harbor. I've never had a CH when doing this. You're welcome to try this. Directions are on the back of this post.

pete-r,

I'm happy for you that your beast left you alone. That's always great to hear. :)

Lots of places even here in Jyväskylä offer reiki, both classes and as a treatment. Reiki treatment can be done from long distance too, am I right?

If I recall correctly, a family friend is probably a reiki master. If I'm not mistaken... Anyways, that treatment didn't help me.

I'm glad that you've found relief.

PF days,
Sanna
