Title: Anyone tried Choline or hCG?
Post by richcurtin on Mar 8th, 2008, 2:35am
I read that Acetylcholine levels are low in CH. I just started taking Choline, but do not know how much I should try.

Anyone taken hCG injections? Dr Simeons in the 1950 claimed it resets the hypothalamus and allowed weight loss without a rebound after the diet is over. Kevin Trudeau no has it in his book "The Weight Loss Cure." It is used as a fertility drug.

hCG is highest in pregnant women and according to the posts CH goes into remission during pregnancy.

Don't know about hCG, but not all pregnant CH sufferers go into remission.

The jury's still out on choline:

Interesting though - keep us posted.

Hi Rich
HGC is highest during early pregnancy, its what pregnancy tests work from. Based on reading posts here alot of women got slammed in early pregnancy, some stopped after the first trimester and some carried on right through getting hit. It's not something I've ever heard of in connection with the hypothalamus before.

It's also used as a marker for some cancers as some types of tumour secret it and it's used in fertility treatment.

Have you any more info on it?

Thanks
Helen

I read it was good for CH at the health food store but have not tried it.
