Title: Coenzyme Q10
Post by SchwarzenSchafe on Apr 9th, 2008, 1:38am
Anyone heard about CoEnzyme Q10 as treatment? Someone told me about this, that there's some recent research that suggests it treats clusters. Not sure how as I can't find much on a web search. Any info is appreciated.

One of our own clusterheads here has written an extensive online resource of information about various meds, supplements and herbs in the treatment of CH:

I tried it after discussing it wth Floridian, author of the med owl website. It didn't help me at all but that's no reason for others not to try it!

If you give it a go please let us know how you get on okay?
Helen

Several years ago I found a single trial of Q10 used in high doses for CH. Results were meager and when you priced out the cost of the dose used it became more than what you would pay for the meds which we know to be effective.

Have never seen another report on its use.
