My latest preventative is called pizotifen.
I took first one 0.5 tablet in the evening for 3 days, now I'm up to two. After a week, I'm taking three.
Pizotifen contains pizotifen malate, lactose monohydrate, maize starch, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, hypromellose, macrogol 6000, talc and E171.
What comes to side effects, so far it has caused me a dry mouth and drowsiness (nice change after predisolon made me imsomniac - lol).
BUT, what even better, thanks to it, I was PF yesterday!!!  It has been such a long time that it felt weird indeed... 
Has anybody else tried pizotifen?
