Title: Sending Blood to your Extremities
Post by ozzman on Jan 31st, 2003, 1:01pm
Ok, bear with me. This is exactly what happens when you can't sleep...my mind just wanders..

Anyway, many have read Charlie's technique for sending blood to your extremities, sooo, if that works as I'm sure many of you will tell me, how about taking some Viagra. I mean, doesn't it send blood to your, er, "other" extremities? Please, some of your older folk, try it and let us know?

Just wondering..

Ozzy

Getting a hard on to abort the beast? Now that's a different approach. I'm putting away the Imitrex and the o2 and gonna go have me some sex!

OK     so then if a female would try your approach, let's see.........would that make the blood flow to her extremety??      guessing then her tits would then be on fire?????.......so, how pretel would THAT alleviate ch.....LOL

sex during ch just doesn't strike as something that would help me for sure........can't even imagine.......but then, of course there are those that it might work for.

pf wishes, even if it's the viagra that'll help,
EDNA

There are those that this has worked for... Maybe she will chime in... I know the CH will make you get up from asleep, maybe the viagra will get you up and away from CH........ Maybe when one head starts to hurt you could just use the other.... who knows?

As I understand it Imigran/Imitrex constricts the blood blood vessels making them decrease the blood flow which takes pressure off the nerves in the brain.

From what I have read Viagra expands the blood vessels making them increase blood flow to help promote and maintain a stiffy. It does not cause a spontainious erection as most people seem to think. It just helps them when they are in the mood anyway.

Surely this is exactly the opposite effect you would be looking for to relieve ch. Viagra may just make things worse IMHO. Just my 2 cents.

As for sex during a ch, this is the furthest thing from my mind during this type of pain, but nice idea! In fact the only thing on my mind at this time IS the pain.

Maybe the "single handed" solo approach might work. Must remember to give it a try next time! Anyone get relief this way?

John
