ok got right mask how do I use it

ok just got the right mask from the hospital they were to busy to show me how to use it should I cover up the sides with the discs or take them off?

KEEP the discs on can even tape over them to make sure nothing escapes
Hold it tight to your face and just breathe.......
Some do it fast some do it slow......
You'll find what works for you.
I tend to manipulate the regualtor between breaths so I dont waste any of the O2.

do I leave the disc inside the mask on there is one on the side should I leave that on and tape up the other side or take both off?

Here's how to use it.......

DON'T TOUCH any of the disks (they're called diaphrams, but you don't use them for sex.)
Pahlow put in this plug, a few threads ago. Live by it. Technique is everything...
My O2 Lamaze Method:
1. I cut the strap off the mask.
2. I make sure the intake valve (between the bag and mask) is functioning properly.
3. I put tape over the exhaust valves on the sides of the mask so they don't work.
Procedure:
1. Turn on the O2 and let bag fill.
2. Press mask against face with one hand and squeeze the bag with the other hand, inhale deeply.
3. Release the bag and pull mask slightly away from face, exhale through mouth, blowing the air down away from the mask.
4. Repeat #2 & #3.
