Shroom treatment clarification....again

I am looking into starting the Shroom treatment cause the verapimil doesnt seem to be helping.
The verapimil is supposed to lessen the frequency and severity of the CHs? How long should that take?
If I take Shroom treatment, that is supposed to have the same effect? Shroomies are supposed to stop a cycle? Do episodal sufferers take them regularly to act as a preventative?
So, if I take 2 grams as tea every 2 weeks, would that break the cycle and keep me from getting them? I boil 2 grams in 1 quart of water for 10 minutes? Strain and drink over 30 minutes?

Verapamil is taken daily while you're in cycle. It usually takes about 1 - 2 weeks to start working. Unlike verapamil, shrooms are not usually taken daily. Episodics can use one dose (if they're lucky) or a few doses near the beginning of their cycle to avoid the whole cycle. Chances are, as an episodic, you will only need to use shrooms right before you expect a cycle, or when you feel one starting. To sum up:
Verapamil prevents you from getting headaches during a cycle.
Shrooms prevent you from getting a cycle.

If making a tea, don't boil but 'steep'. Boiling can kill the effect of the medication (psilocybin). 2g dried may be overkill for your first dose, and a quart of tea may take some drinking. See clusterbusters for full details ...

D is WAS chronic and he doses every 8 to 12 weeks, and has never used that large a dose!

Be careful with schrooms, You never know how strong the batch is. I got seriously tweeked for a few weeks by a schroom trip. Had nothing to do with CH's though, I think it was a halloween party!
