Well ... Even though Histamine Desensitization has brought me months of pain free time, it doesn't work everytime. This last time I did it didn't work out all that well. After getting 1 hit a day since I got out of the hospital, today I was hit 4 times before noon. And yes, they were 'bad ones'! (4 Imitrex jabs) Even with the Imitrex, it's 15 - 20 minutes of pure hell each time. I ended up caving in and calling my neuro. I didn't want to go through another hit. So, he said to go to the ER for a shot of DHE and a shot of SoluMedrol. That's what I did. NO more headaches for a couple of days at least.
Damn, this is a never ending battle !

Well...the time is here again (already). I'm getting hit 6 times a day. This last time with the Histamine was a failure. I think I did it too fast so I'm going in to do it again slower this time.
Be gone for at least 11 days this time. (geez thats a long time!)
It's either this or another shot of DHE and SoluMedrol that will only last 2 or 3 days.
Did I mention that this SUCKS!
