Title: Shrooms and meds.
Post by ccbiggsoo7 on Jan 18th, 2005, 11:34pm
I have recently decided to try the shroom app. Do you have to quit all of your prevents. 5 days before u take these. I am a Engineer for the U.P. Railroad so I really can't afford to lay off prevents for 5 days. Would I prob be alright for 2 or 3. I don't want to waste the shrooms so I just might wait until Vacation in April. Any input is app.

By far the most complete info is here:  http://www.clusterbusters.com/faq.html

BTW, some folks have had success with shrooms while still on verapamil.

What meds are you currently taking?

Some have used the "sip method" while detoxing.

pretend there are no rules to mushroom use....
YOU are going to know after you try them if they had any positive effect.  Will you KNOW it was the mushrooms? or could it have been the neurontin?  Could the neurontin have impacted how effective the mushrooms were?   Those are very difficult questions to answer.  So the clearer your system is of other 'agents', the more you will have learned from your experiment.

Hopefully you read the following from the website....

http://www.clusterbusters.com/warning.htm

and paid close attention to the section regarding lithium. It probably makes the lithium issue clear as mud but knowledge is power, even if it's confusing. Better to be confused and proceed cautiously than to be without the knowledge that there may be a problem.
