Yes, Im sorry.  I have taken Melatonin and Dyphenhydramine at night and have not been hit in 3 DAYS IN A ROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I only take 6 mg of melatonin and I do not have any problem waking up in the morning.  As a matter of fact, I feel rested and refreshed!!!

Do you think I am at the end of the episode?  I got hit over the weekend pretty badly, then on sunday I bought the sleep aids and have not been hit since.  You think its the sleep aids, or just that i am at the end of this episode.  It has been about 2 months in this cycle.
THANKS and PF wishes

Do not assume you are at the end of an episode yet .... maybe yes, maybe no.  For me, if it was two months into a cycle, I would think it was over.  Sometimes a med can break a cycle, but more often, it supresses the headaches. I generally keep up the melatonin a week or 10 days after the headaches stop.  You might want to decrease the dose somewhat as you go.

Most pharmacies and health food stores sell a device that will split pills - you could use this to split a 3mg melatonin pill into 1.5 mg halves, or 0.75 mg quarters.

Well, lets not get our hopes up too soon.  I knew that all that bragging would catch up to me!!
I awoke this morning with a CH, took O2 and have had a ghost all day long.  Pain isnt too bad, but I know what is in store for me later tonight.
