Title: Re: O2 HOW DO I GET IT? Post by Kris_in_SJ on Feb 8th, 2005, 8:20pm There are plenty of good docs here in Michigan. First - are you diagnosed with clusters? If not, you need to be before you try any particular treatment - even O2. If you've been properly diagnosed and no doctor is prescribing oxygen for you, get thee to a different doctor - right NOW! Until then, read the information on the left of this board called "Oxygen Info." At the bottom you'll find a link to Jonny. Ask him about a welder's oxygen set-up. A little initial cost, but no prescription needed. Kris |

Title: Re: O2 HOW DO I GET IT? Post by BMoneeTheMoneeMan on Feb 8th, 2005, 8:58pm You have to demand it from your doctor. If you have clusters and it has been proven that O2 helps you, you have to demand it. Its not like you are begging for some narcotics, it's O2, and you can't get high from it.....although I tend to hyperventilate. Demand it. If it's an HMO issue about costs, tell them you could hit them up for Imitrex...at about $60 a dose. Or, you could just simply go to the ER. Demand it. PF wishes BMonee |
