Hi everybody,
Well first I'm happy to report my cluster has finally broken. PF now since 8/23..but you know, you hate to say that outloud too soon....

But I've been on pred for most of the summer. Finally tapered off and had the last 10mg on 9/4. But my system is all outta wack. I've got a hacking cough, skin blemishes on my face and now a rash under my arms. My immune system has been suppressed for 3 months and now is doing...what?

Any thoughts on how to get the pred out of my system and get my immune system boosted back to normal? One friend suggested cleansing. You all are the knowledgable ones though, what do you think?

That's a very long "taper"

I wish I had an answer for ya.

Vitamins up the wazoo!!!!

Glad you have relief from CH but in future ya might want to try a short taper of the roids while you build up a preventative to therapeutic levels.

Yes I think you're both right. Another example of a neuro not knowing best.
