Post by ninaperdida on Nov 22nd, 2005, 5:39pm
Recieved new prescription from doctor but I can't understand her writing.I'm trying to research the med but dont know the correct spelling. It is 10g at onset of HA BID that is about all I can read.Does it look familiar to anyone? Also was prescribed Sansert.I was looking in archives and people were having trouble getting it.I hope I dont.Still have to go to Walgreens.Hope my doc knows what she is doing. Please anyone let me know if it looks familiar. :-/ :-/ :-/ P.S could it be Teslon or teglon? :-/ :-/

I would wonder if you could take the 'script to your local pharmacy and ask what it is - then research it prior to filling it if that's what you wanted to do.  They should certainly be able to tell you.

Could it be Reglan?  That would make sense if you're being treated for nausea.  Pills come in 10mg dose.

"This medicine is used to help stomach retention (gastroparesis) associated with diabetes; acid reflux; nausea and vomiting associated with migraine headaches; nausea and vomiting induced by anticancer drugs (chemotherapy).

You may have difficulty finding Sansert, since it is no longer available in many parts of the country.  Be very careful of the severe side effects.
