Wow - sure didn't mean to set off a man v. woman debate, though. 
As I stated in my original post, it is terribly UN-sexy, and it usually does take some effort and concentration, since, yes, it is the last thing I feel like doing -- but -- hey better than banging your forehead against the wall.
It is simply making your body do what it can do,albeit in a very mechanical way.
And, yes, they are clusters - for me the feeling that the nerves or veins in your temple are being squeezed with a pair of needlenosed pliers, and that half your face feels like its on fire....fear of falling asleep,only to be awakened the same time, different day.
Sorry that the guys out there aren't able to take advantage of this temp remedy - maybe some other ladies might benefit, who might not have thought about it before. Sherry, I guess you and I are the lucky ones - or the freaky ones. Good luck, everyone, with finding your remedies.

JZ - So glad you found something that helps you. This topic has come up here several times over the past few years. Both men and women have posted that sexual stimulation (masturbation included) stops their ch. I believe they related it mostly to the re-direction of blood flow as well as the release of endorphins. If y'all are interested in more details than I can remember, search the archives.

Someone reading this just might have experience in the subject- I will try to explain this technically for you. Very interesting. The Big "O" sounds like a viable remedy to me. However, since I get mucho CH daily, I'd probably get addicted or sore. I'll save the vibrator RX for KIP 8 to 10. For the rest I use the Chip-Bag-Kitchen Clip method.

quite welcome. When I'm doing some homework here (which is every day practically), i always pop in on the boards to see what I might find. So far, Slammy, Drk Angel, & Marc as well as Jonny, provide some interesting AND funny threads.
Maybe they could form an ensemble....
Actually when I think about it, everyone here has a great sense of humor, I guess we have to, right?
Muy friend "Angel" has a difficult time thinking, let alone trying to get to concentrate on 'the Big O' when he's having a CH. It would be something if it would help, he's chronic..... , that's a remedy we both might enjoy....
