Sorry if this is dopey question of the year but has any woman on this site tried very large doses of Oil of Evening Primrose as a preventative?
I know it sounds like a David and Goliath fight but the oil if taken in sufficiently large amounts and for long enough as it takes time to work (I think minimum 1000mgs per day) can cure premenstrual syndrome and also prevent migraines in some people.
There is also a girl on OUch UK who says it cured her CH for 18 months.
I have got the so-called science behind it written down somewhere and could find it if necessary.
I ask rather than doing it as it will be quite an expensive mistake if everyone already knows it doesn't work.
Anyone out there tried it?

Given: I'm not a woman....... (put a sock innit allayez) but yer wastin' DJ's bandwith.....there's also a lunatic in South Africa who want's to sell us *snake oil*...and most of these cures ARE (snake/primrose oil).... meanwhile, PUHLEEZE .....spare us........
