Has anyone tried taking a baby asprin(81mg) daily?  The neuro I went to told me take 1 a day.  I have done that for almost 2 years and did not have an episode start until I quit taking it about a month ago when I cut myself and could not get it to stop bleeding.  I started them back up two days ago to see if it stops my cycle and keeps the damn beast away.

I took baby asprin daily for a possible heart condition for awhile.  It did nothing for my ha.  Over the counter meds don't work on clusters at all.!!!!!

Bob P and BobG,

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU,

Fucking A—I really needed that. Those 2 replies alone are worth the price of admission to this site. I have laughed over a lot of posts here, but you guys take the cake. Such understatement, such judicious use of words “…this could hurt” “…to post that took guts”, hell, I’m still laughing so hard I can hardly type. It’s 7:30 am and I’m laughed out, so I will try to finally get some sleep (work nights). I owe you guys big time.

“Hang on the ride might get bumpy” Haaaaaaaaaaaa……..I’m crying!!!

No kidding, I’m going to print that up and have it made into a poster…….Haaaaaaa, Haaaaaaaaaaa.

You need to find a new Neurologist. To prescribe baby aspirin for Cluster Headaches kills me. It's a good idea to take Baby Aspirin if you're worried about your heart health and you don't have any stomach or bleeding problems. But for Clusters? I don't think it would help my tension Headaches.

$100 a day for Imitrex shots, and all I needed was baby aspirin?

I'm blaming the drug companies!

My CH has been gone for 11 years. That small a dose of aspirin will not affect clusters but consider yourself fortunate.  Just maybe they've gone far away. Mine did.
