It's breaking my heart to say this but, as much as I want to go to DavCon '05, it doesn't look like it is gonna happen. 
I originally was going to ride up with Jim & Sue, but they decided to fly instead of driving 8+ hours to Iowa. Can't say I blame them. Long drives suck, and I know Jim has a bad leg.
So, unless something unforseeable happens between now and January, I won't be making the trip. It sucks too, because I have been missing you guys since we left Nashville, and have been anxious to see you all again in January. If anything changes, I'll let you guys know.

I know Mel's bringin the family.....
And for those of you that are saying "depends on the weather".....
we're gonna be IN the atrium.. nice and warm in there..... no one leaves..
unlesss it's me, going to get someone from the airport, or goin on a beer run... ..
Only thing you gotta worry about is getting there.. and usaully - even if there's snow on the ground - the interstates are clean....

God help me but I am going to commit. Count me in. I am one wild child so I hope y'all can handle me! I got my fuzzy slippers and jammies already packed and ready to hit the road - along with my 02 of course! I will probably be bringing my son and husband. They are quite the party animals too so watch out y'all! I will call and make my reservations this weekend! AAAHHHHHH!!!!!! I am so excited I could pee my pants. oops, too late.

Just curious... What the hell made you pick Iowa in mid January? Fla or AZ would have been a more attractive choice and potentially better turnout.
Tucson's beautiful in Jan. I'd help you out.
Might still consider Iowa. Need to see if I still have winter gear...

We did DavCon last year, and we had an AWESOME turnout - and an even better time. I was asked to set it up again this year - cuz everyone had such a good time.
there's NOTHING like meeting another CHer... and your wife might like to meet other wives/spouses too...
Iowa in January - who cares... it's not like we're picnicing in the park. We are in the ATRIUM.......

It's getting close, guys... dont forget to make the reservations soon - ok??
