Hey everyone. It has been years since I have posted here and frankly not sure I stopped posting on good terms in all honestly. Anyhow, that was many, many years ago. I just in the past week started my first cycle in 2.5 years and before that it was another 2 years. Prior to that it was usually once a year. So I visited the board to see if there are any new treatments and I see about a San Diego meet and greet. And whadaya know, I am lucky enough to live in San Diego! So I will keep an eye on this thread for times and activities. Not sure if anyone else is in San Diego but if you need me to do anything here let me know. Maybe we can have a barb-q or something at my house at some point depending on what everyone is going to be doing. -By the way, I just noticed it only shows 7 posts on this new board but I had waaayyyy more on the old board. Just so everyone knows I am not as much a newbie as the posts show.

| I don't want to hi-jack the Meet and Greet thread but to answer your question. 02, Prednisone and Coffee have been good to me in the past. I have not done anything yet this cycle. This Kudzu stuff is new to me and I went looking for it at GNC today but could not find. I guess I will just order online, I just didn't want to wait today. Oh...I did pick up some Red Bull to try for a few days until I decide if I am going to go to the Dr. for 02 again or what. I have enough Predisone to do a nice dosage and taper but it is a 9 months expired so I am debating if I will use it or not, plus I just really dont like taking Prednisone because of the puffy weight gain and the unpredictable moodiness it gives me. I will see you all around in the other threads.

| You got me interested to find out when I first found the site and was able to find in the archives one of my first posts in 1999, see below. Pretty interesting to find that. I always took a lot of flak for not wanting to be a supporter when I am not in a cycle. My deal is, it is the worst pain ever, I do not enjoy thinking about it or reliving it when I am not in a cycle. I could swear in the past that if someone would ask about my headaches a cycle would soon start. Anyhow, some people will always dislike me or judge me for that but hopefully there are those that understand that we all still share that common bond of the cluster regardless of our choice to be active here all the time or not. Posted by Derek (204.210.20.12) on July 12, 1999 at 03:26:47: In Reply to: Updat eand Question? posted by Kim Y. on July 11, 1999 at 19:15:12: Hi Kim, I have only been here about a week but have CH's for around 13 years. I read some post on here that the caffine trick can work but can also cause one of the worst rebound headaches (as i heard it called). Before getting Oxygen and Prednisone last week I did try some soda etc. and sure enough in the middle of the night I found out what they meant by rebound headache, turned out to be really bad. I can tell you I wont do that again, but this was only my experience for whatever its worth. I can also tell you that if your chiro can get a hold of some O2, I would seriously try it, it works for alot of people. I couldnt believe how well it works for me this week when I got it. Good Luck!

Hi John and welcome, I too have taken a bit of flak cuz when I was off cycle I didn't even want to hear the name of "he who must not be named" much less visit his board!!!!! Please consider coming to the meet and greet. If nothing else come down saturday, we'll be by the pool all day yakking away. Th exchange of info is priceless. I know a few of the people coming and they're wonderful people. There are a lot of people I'll be meeting for the first time, should be great! Guiseppi

Guiseppi will have some and so will I...I'm bringing my regulator to use because Joe's is a weird one and I'll have several non-rebreathers for anyone who needs them. Thanks Brian, you were a life-saver in Milwaukee. I'll be happy to see you if you can get there. Linda

Just met a new person in "getting to know you", Tami....from right in my town, Lakeside Ca. I invited her to the meet and greet, sent her an IM with my phone number to encourage her. Y'all might wanna drop her an encouraging line. She has a doc who thinks it's rare for females to get these so I'm not sure how much help she's getting from him! Guiseppi
