So far we have Confirmed: Empty Suits band Brew and the family crew The Lady Redd and clan The Filtz gang of Merry makers Mr. Floor and the construction crew Maybe's Terry the builder and his construction crew Alienspacebabe Magick (John Thayer) and guests Jimyhertz and wife Here is the deal...I'll be providing cold cut meats and cheeses, and probably a cold salad or two. What would be wonderful to help with the picknic is for people traveling to add things that don't require staying cold, or if you have a little extra cooler room it would be great. Here is a short list of things that could be devided between partisipants. Please feel free to sign up for what you want to bring to help out. Buns for the sandwiches Chips & dip Veggie's & dip Strong disposable plates and plastic forks etc. Remember that there is no vendors available, so please bring your own drinks. My two wonderful supporter teenagers will be there as well, so the kids will have a blast. Little ones will have a nice playground to play on. I will have blankets laid out to mark out space during the show, for those who don't have lawn chairs along. (hard to carry those on a motorcycle) The earlier you get here, the better the parking. PM me for my phone number in case you get lost.

Just got ahold of these pics of the bandshell and park where this party's happening. Looks like the potential for a very good time. C'mon up and par-tay! Stage and bandshell: View from the stage:

OK, a bit of an update. My wife is busy that weekend, but my daughter may want to go. That would cancel the "motor bikes" because hers is 200cc and that would be a loooooong ride on a sport bike. So it looks like we'll have a car and can bring coolers or whatever you need if we can make it. Still working on the definate answer. Jimmy

I am up to about 95% sure my daughter and I will be coming. We won't be able to stay the night because "Fish Day" is Saturday here in Port. By the way you are all welcome to come and partake in the worlds largest one day fish fry. It's an annual event here. Anything in particular we should bring? I have lots of chairs. Any food still needed? Also, what time are you getting there to picnic?

I've not heard anything from other about what food they plan to bring from the list I posted. So feel free to sign up for anything on there. I'm sorry you can't stay the night and join us for breakfast in the morning. As far as when I plan to arrive, I'm taking the day off work. Music starts at 7 PM, I'm sure the Suits and company will be there fairly early to set up in the bandshell. I'll probably get there about 3-4 with the two teens in tow to get space laid out in front of the stage. I'm bringing two coolers, one with food the other with drink for the kids and I, and since I'll be there early I'm parking on the street behind the bandshell for an easy walk and carry. If you have room please bring extra chairs for those who are without. PM me if you want a phone number to reach me at.

Redd, Will there be grills in the park? I could bring burgers and hot dogs if there is, maybe even some stakes. Also the wife is probably coming now her trip to Vagas was canceled.I can't wait.Let me know what was already picked off that list you posted so we don't double up on stuff and maybe if someone lives close enough they could bring a small grill if there isn't one. There are no grills at the park, and they don't let you bring them. The park right down town on the river, and is part of the Historic Downtown Area. No grilling allowed except by temp vender permit for the Riverfront Rendezvous this weekend. That is why I posted that I would bring cold cuts and cheeses to make sandwiches, and asked if others would care to contribute. I liked your idea though. No one has picked anything from the list yet. Please feel free to put your name on the list for someting/s if you want.

So if you and the wife are making sandwiches I won't need to pick up cold cuts and cheese? Or is this in addition to the cold cuts? I picked up the syrofoam plates and plastic cutlery last night at one of the dollar stores so that is covered now. Fruit tray..Yummy...

Sheesh...I'll get a list of Northside Hotels for you guys. I'll do this in the morning from work. Brew is staying where he has points to use, but it's all the way in Plover. As I mentioned, I'll be sure everyone has the info they need to make it to the park. Look here for further information by 10 am tomorrow.
