Well, it is only a little over two hours away from home, so I may leave fairly late on Saturday... I am still reluctant to spend the additional night. When I was gone for three days in May to attend my Gramma's funeral, they ate McDonalds for every single meal.

Who's in charge of clearing the roads? I don't think I've ever been further north than Tulsa in January, and as I recall that was nightmarish.
But cold is good for my head so it balances out, right? That is the reasoning behind the scheduling, I assume

I figured folks could pitch in what they wanted...
I got them for $95.00 a day....they wanted $159.00 a day.
Will try to make some plans for food when we get closer and can get a better count....if that's OK with you all that is...

That's what the tires are for. I can go anywhere faster and safer in my little camry than anybody can in their AWD car with all season radials.

It's in place apparently! My van is old (but so are we), heavy (no comment!) and complete with 4WD, so I'm stocking plenty of blankets, junk food and audio books and hoping for the best. I can't wait to meet you guys.
