How many usually attend an OUCH convention? I never saw any numbers mentioned in the archives. Since I live near DFW airport I expect it will be in my backyard this summer!

I am getting so excited! I can't wait to see you all! It's been far too long...I need something to look forward to after the dismal performance by Wisconsin in Tampa Bay. Seriously...we couldn't be a team full of volunteers...that's a bit pathetic!
I do, however, need to leave in the early afternoon on Saturday  so that I can get back to Madison for my track's season ending banquet. Can't miss race car drivers dressed up nice and me being dressed up nice...it'll be a fun night!

Where's the fun in that? We've gotten probably over 2 feet of snow so far in Madison and the wind chill at the moment is around 5 degrees. Snow and cold is what makes DavCon so fun...cuz you get to hang out in a hotel with the people you care about and not care about the weather outside.

For those of you unfamiliar with Iowa (and most Midwestern weather), here's a link to Davenport's weather:

Notice that right now it's 1 degree (that's Fahrenheit). By Monday the projected temp is 54 degrees. By DavCon it could be back to 2 degrees or stay at 50!
Bring sweatpants! Jeans don't cut the wind and actually make your legs colder. We don't stand on fashion and ceremony at Davcon. Sweatpants aren't pretty but they are comfy and VERY practical.
