I already brainstormed and figured out how to raise funds to get to the Convention in July. I am gonna contact my old boss from Michigan and work a music festival in Bushnell, IL called Cornerstone. I will be working a retail music booth, but should make enough to get to Nashville. Already alerting my bandmates not to book any gigs from July 14-20, as I am committing to another event. Title: Hey Re: MIDWEST MEET & GREET FINAL JANUARY 10t Post by River_Rat on Oct 30th, 2003, 5:15pm Hey everyone, This sounds like it's going to be a great time, as far as where to hang out, there's a large atrium near the pool with pool tables and if I remember right there's a ping pong table WooooooooHoooooooooo ;;D, there is also a lot of room to just sit and chat play cards and DRINK if you want. if anyone has any good group games they would like to bring feel free to do so. My wife and I have a great game called gestures, it's a lot of fun with a large group, we usually play guys against gals. As far as other entertainment goes, the bar is called lucky's and they usually pack em in on Fridays and Saturdays. Davenport also has three or four gambling boats if that's your thing. Also the lady at counter said when you come in by the Quad Cites International Airport in Moline IL. (www.qcairport.com) let the people working there phone hotel she said if no bus from hotel could get you to hotel in 20 minutes they would call a cab for you and its N/C. He's mobile so he goes to every concert or out door event we have here. Anyway, I will be the first and if you don't like it you can pass. He doesn't have a web site to see samples, but lets face it the O.U.C.H. logo should be pretty simple for a guy that's been doing it for 15 years, actually it probably wont even be a challenge for him. I got 2 suprises on this wonderful 1st day of 2004. The Beast woke me to welcome me to the New Year. What a pleasurable experience I had meeting it. Couldn't think of a better person to visit to start my year off in the right direction. (trying to keep to the New Years resolution). I also found a new visitor to the board. She has had a bad headache for several days, (not a CH) and took just about everything possible to rid herself of the ha. However, when she got to the ER, she found out that she has pneumonia, and pleurisy (sp??. She will be under the doctors care till next Thursday or Friday. So...............looks like she won't be able to make it to Davenport. :'( I did speak to her earlier, and the headache has subsided a bit, but she is to stay in the bed for a day or two. Doc did give her some antibiotics, so hopefully she will feel better in a few days. Just wanted to let you know......... PF vibes, Jean |

You could see clear across the state if you stood on your toes on the railroad tracks. And just up the road was a little town, I think it's called ZipDripandTingle or something like that, that had a Spam museum. That's Spam as in canned meat, not the web spam crap. The Spam museum is in a shopping center just off the freeway coming down from Minn. Those Hormell Bros are something else. That was the highlite of our trip to Iowa. I really would like to go to Davenport just to find out why the people in Wisconsin call couches Davenports. Just can't do it this month. |

And to answer Roxy I am always in cylce 24/7 sucks but I am well medicated at all times. I wear the pain patch which over 72 hours puts into my body fentyl. Plus I have 1 10 mg of morphine left for the month. And of course two other medicines for my depression and one I take for panic attacks. So if you all start getting there and you see a 48 year old male short hair gray at the temples sitting off in the corner staring and sweating it will be me lol. Just something I am working on for a few years. Have trouble with crowds and strangers and I know I shouldnt be that way around you all but just wanted you all to know I will be there but might be a little shy at first. I will as I said before bring 1 tank full of O2 with regulator and mask for anyone that needs it. I havent used it for a year or two stopped working for me. And I have lived in Davenport all but two years of my life (while in USAF) so i know the area like back of my hand. And hope you all dont mind I am bringing my best friend (almost 30 years) along. Altho he dont have headaches but has had a stroke and had to have two stints in the blood vessales of the brain. He is a big nice guy. Ok I rambled enough so see you all friday or Sat. Rule # 2 - I DO hug the ladies, especially if they are of the non bra wearing variaty. Of course, subsection 2a of this rule specifically states that the act of hugging is contingent upon my girlfriends abscence or approval (also transferable to the females mate, other or husband) not to be overidden by age, race or political affiliation. Mine charges about $ 80.00 an hour and most run at least an hour tho unless it is jus an outline.....if ya get one get it rite cuz you'll be lookin at it a long time. Average tatt starts at around $ 50.00 a my freinds shop....she's expensive but...ya git what ya pay for !!! Anyone gettin an eyeball tattoo'd on there forehead....if so I want pics !!! Have fun.......get a tatt for me Pam Hint hint.......pssssssst......tatto people don't like ta hear ya did this but 2 advils at least 15 to 20 minutes before ya sit down to get tattoo'd will 'kill' that initial sting.
